The EUR district
The architecture of EUR, located in the south of Rome, and featured in such films as Michelangelo Antonioni's L'eclisse, La dolce vita by Federico Fellini and Bernardo Bertolucci's movie The Conformist, is a perfect symbol of Italian Rationalism.
Route: Nuovo Centro Congressi, Palazzo dei Congressi, Museo Nazionale Preistorico Etnografico Luigi Pigorini, Istituto Centrale per la Demoetnoantropologia, Palazzo degli Uffici, Palazzo della Civiltà italiana.

The Celio neighbourhood
Celio, one of the seven hills of Rome, is a rione with a strong history and is located steps away from the shadow cast by the Colosseum. In ancient times the area contained temples and villas. Now it maintains a much loved and quiet atmosphere.
Route: S.Clemente, S. Silvestro ai 4 Coronati, S.Stefano Rotondo, Santa Maria in Domnica, Arco di Dolabella, Clivo di Scauro, Basilica S. Giovanni e Paolo, S.Gregorio al Celio, Villa Celimontana.

Gianicolo Hill
The panoramic view from the top of the Gianicolo Hill, just above the Vatican and Trastevere neighbourhoods, will take your breath away. The area is full of Roman landmarks such as Fontanone and the Belvedere and some scenes from La grande bellezza by Paolo Sorrentino were shot there. Simply beautiful and romantic.
Route: Piazzale Garibaldi, Fontana dell’Acqua Paola, American Academy, Piazzale San Pietro in Montorio, Santa Maria dei 7 dolori, S.Giovanni della Malva, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto.

Aventine
Aventine, just south of the Circus Maximus, is home to some of the loveliest streets and corners in Rome. Thanks to its small size and exclusivity, it is possibly the greenest and most charming of the seven hills.
Route: S.Prisca, S.Sabina, S. Alessio, Giardino degli Aranci, SS. Bonifacio e Alessio, S. Anselmo,
Piazza dei Cavalieri di Malta.
